Amikor még aktív, új zenéket is játszó lemezlovas voltam, igykeztem megörvendeztetni a honlap látogaóit havi rendszerességű webmixekkel. Ezekben persze mindig a kedvenceim szerepeltek, meg azok a dalok, amelyek akkor voltak frissek, és népszerűsíteni szerettem volna őket. Emlékszem, szép letöltési számokat produkáltam, a Latin Mix - melynek egyenes folytatása lett a Ritmo Latino - több, mint 3000 letöltést ért el. A havi webmixek persze elmaradtak ettől, de ott is több száz elégedett felhasználót számoltam. Ebben a cikkben egy csomó régebbi webmix érhető el újra, 2006-2007-ből. Persze felmerül a kérdés, hogy mi értelme van régi webmixeket újra publikálni 2011-ben?

Nos, először is, én mostanság retrózom, és hamarosan ezek a zenék is "elretrósodnak". Aztán biztosan van olyan, aki a tracklista láttán azt mondja majd: "Nem az év a lényeg, hanem az, hogy jó legyen". No és persze ott van még a visszatekintés lehetősége is, mert ezek a tracklisták segíthetnek abban, hogy a rengeteg zene között választ adhasson arra a kérdésre: "Mi a fenét is játszottunk 2006 májusában???"

A 2007-es mixekhez ún. .cue fájl is jár, ez arra jó, hogy ha valaki CD-re szeretné kiírni a mixet, akkor léptetni is tud a dalok között.
